About THE THREE JACKS & THE BREFFNI DANCERS

Acclaimed U.S. Irish-rock band The Three Jacks and the champion dancers from the "Breffni Academy of Irish Step Dance" performed for a full house during their last concert at the Gusman Theatre.

Led by singer-songwriter Henk Milne, The Three Jacks is one of America’s most entertaining Irish-rock bands with well over 15 years of packed-out shows in clubs, pups and auditoriums in the U.S. and abroad.

The “Jacks” are known for their dynamic interpretations of traditional Celtic music, merging 17th-century melodies with foot-stomping rhythms from rock and blues. The band’s latest album is the award-winning “Treachery, Lust and Misfortune” (Dancing Bear Records).

The Venue

Gusamn Theatre Miami

The historical Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts was built in 1926 and is one of Miami's greatest landmarks.

Tucked into Miami’s contemporary skyline is an enchanting Mediterranean courtyard with shimmering stars and golden balconies. Majestic turrets and towers suggest another era when performances were events, and grand theaters provided a dreamlike escape from the modern world.

The Olympia Theater is not just a “venue” – is the jewel of South Florida arts and entertainment facilities, affording South Florida’s diverse community and its international guests a unique cultural experience that defies comparison.
